Project Overview
Normally, Cinco de Mayo is tequila’s big day. But in 2020, all bets were off.
America’s Cinco celebrations were suddenly at risk. But so were the family-owned restaurants that depend on them. As a family-owned Mexican business, Jose Cuervo couldn’t sit by and watch tradition disappear. The idea was simple: Cuervo asked fans to order their Cinco celebrations to-go and share their receipts online. From there, they paid it all back on Venmo.
